new friends

During the last couple of weeks a was attending project x competition which chef z who happens to be a judge in the competition .. it was really fun and i have made lots and lots of new friends .. but the highlight of the experience was baby T who was there with us .. it was her first event ever .. she already receives offers for next project x .. how cute is that !!!!

over all the event was very nice and fun .. i hope that the whole group gets together again some time soon ... YOU GUYS ROCK :)

The new life

it has been almost 3 months since my last post ... a lot has changed .. the fact that i have a new responsibility (baby T) is a full time job .. somehow is took me time to adjust ... time passes zoo fast it feels just like yesterday when i had baby T now she is 6 months old
mashalla .. have been busy learning how to be a mommy and trying to get used to the fact that my time should be mostly dedicated to baby T .. the most annoying thing for me is that i have to take triple the time to get ready for any outing with baby T because of the preparations  motherhood if FUN but of course everything comes with a price .. i had to compromise my ( ME TIME ) .. and when i see baby T smile .. i feel that i got all the ( ME TIME ) that i need .. now that i have adjusted my life properly i'll will be hopefully able to blog more .

صارلي فترة طويلة ما كتبت بالبلوق ( تقريبا ٣ شهور ) مسؤولية بيبي ط شاغلة وقتي ٢٤ ساعة .. كان يبيلي وقت عشان اتأقلم مع حياتي اليديدة و اتعود على التعديل في الأولويات ... أكثر شغلة تغيرت علي انه اذا بتزهب حق طلعة قمت آخذ اكثر من ضعف الوقت بس عشان ازهب الصغيرة و طبعا قلت مع السلامة حق وقت الاسترخاء ... بس بشكل عام الأمومة شعور وايد حلو و ممتع بس طبعا لها ثمنها .. لكن لما أشوف الابتسامة على ويه بيبي ط احس انه فعلا الثمن يستاهل 

Instagram creativity course

Instagram is one of the demand social media networks in Kuwait. Companies, entrepreneurs, bloggers and small businesses highly uses Instagram daily.

However, there are some skills and tools the user need to use to able post professional photos and videos to his/her accounts. 

Therefore, Edges Media organize the first workshop of how to be creative in posting professional photos and videos on Instagram.

a delicious slice of fasion

It was a really great evening ... we were invited to (AL- Ostoura) slice of fashion event .. it really included two of my favorite things ... fashion and dessert
the venue was at althuraya complex

the minute I got in ... I was stunned by the huge life size Alexander McQueen dress cake 

it was AMAZING ... really loved the cake .. and as we wondered around, we saw a lot of nice cakes with good detail work

but my absolute favorite cake was the McQueen clutches done by (little treats) the detail work was outstanding ... it really looked like a real clutch!!!!!

unfortunately ... we had to cut all the cakes at the end ... ( to make sure that they are really cakes :P)

 At the end we were given those delicious marshmallows and our own McQueen dresses :P they were edible too :)

We had lots of fun and met some good friends ... made new friends too ... thank you al- ostoura for the invitation .. see you soon in upcoming events

Towards a Healthy Population

Everything starts small ... In order to have a healthy population we should start with the smallest part of the sociaty (the family) ... This is how the people in Hyundai motors were thinking ... So as a part of their (Hyundai empower) campaign there are having a Free seminar titled ( Lead a healthy family ) with great speakers .. Everybody is encouraged to attend .. The seminar will be held in the palms hotel on the 1st of November from 6:00 to 8:00

 

A new addition to our family

On the dawn of 12th of September a new member of our family came to the world . Baby T arrived to our life carrying joy .  I can't really express my feelings when I first laid my eyes on her . The 9 months of wait was finally over and here was she between my arms.  I can't deny that I was a bit scared because I felt the responsibility of taking care of this little baby who is depending on me to raise up but I knew that with chef z beside me we will raise her well inshalla.
the experience of delivery itself was good .. since that it is my first baby I did not really know what labor is so when it started I was not aware of it .. by the time I realized that it is time for baby T to meet the world it was close to midnight .. so we went to the hospital my parents met us up and in about 2 hours baby T was born.   I've heard a lot of stories about the (HORROR of PAIN) in my point of view it really depends on the person and the threshold of pain .. some women can tolerate great amount of pain while others just can't .. I mean IT IS PAINFUL and HARD but it can be handeled.
I delivered baby T in Al-Salam hospital.  the medical care was excellent and they really payed attention to all my concerns regarding my baby.  On discharge the pediatrician came to me and told me all about baby T's measures ( weight , height ) because she was slightly underweight they were cautious about her blood sugar.  I choose to feed baby T naturally because of the enormous benefits of it to the baby and stated that before birth to the nurse so that they do not give her any formulas and they didn't. on the following day baby T and I were discharged and headed to my parents house to spend my ( 40 days) there.
